        I believe that all children deserve love, attention, and nurturing. I believe that a safe environment allows children to explore and grow. At Bumble Bee Day Care, we allow children to have hands-on learning experiences. This fosters age appropriate development. We read to the children everyday. We believe that positive reinforcement is important for children to develop self-esteem. Children need an environment that supports free expression and stimulates learning. Most importantly, however, I believe that children need to have fun! At Bumble Bee Day Care, we often have Disco Dancing parties, Fun Art Projects, Computer Use, Cooking, Science Projects, and we play lots of exciting games. Children learn best from experiencing the world around them.

        Bumble Bee Day Care is a New York State Licensed educational program, conveniently located across the street from Lenape Elementary School in New Paltz with easy access to NYS Thruway. Our day care offers a warm and friendly environment for your infant 6 weeks old and up. We have toddler programs as well as school age programs. Heavy emphasis on learning through fun, games, arts, crafts, cooking, computers and music, music, music! We are a proud participant in the NYS Food Program.

        Laurie and Dan are patient, kind, and nurturing. My children had fun days filled with singing, storytelling, science projects, art projects, games and love. I remember spending some of my mornings and most of my afternoons visiting with the day care when my children were very young. They have an open door policy. Laurie and Dan told me how my children's days went as well as had a prepared daily sheet for me to review at home. I loved the kindness and respect that the children in their program have for one another. I love this day care because Dan and Laurie are wonderful listeners and have always worked closely with me in my children's progress.
