My name is James Gargiulo. I had a multiple level cage fusion that was performed by Dr. Bauman and Dr. Tomak November 12, 2013. I understand that this was a ten to eleven hour surgery because of all the damage to my back. Before I had the surgery, I was getting to the point of not being able to walk that well because of excruciating pain to my back and legs. Within 48 hours after the surgery I had a great amount of relief from any excruciating pain. I still have pain but not like it was before surgery. It is easily controlled with medication. I feel as if I am getting my life back because of the skilled hands of Dr. Bauman and Dr. Tomak. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering back surgery. I cannot thank them enough for the outcome thus far. I know I have a long way to go. I am working hard to get as good as I possibly can be. Again I thank them. Respectfully, James Gargiulo
