Those of us who were here when Mr Sam was running the corp know he would be very sad to see the changes that have been made since his death. You can talk & glorify yourself & the pathetic changes you and the others have made...one thing for sure Customer Service was High on his agenda!! The customer is always right. Now you have become so greedy that no longer carries any truth. Associates were always supposed to greet others....the 10’ Rule. I worked in the Home Office when Mr Sam was there, they had classes on this!!
I still speak to Associates in the store & I’m ignored. I say Hi or Hello to customers I don’t know & help them find things they can’t find, sometimes an associate!! The dress code, he would not approve of. His Associates looked like they worked at a
WalMart Store, not in a HS.
I could say so much more regarding the Stores, Home Office, & other things he would not approve of.
He was a very Respected Man and is & HIS Legacy will live on!! Why are you trying to ruin something he worked so hard to build, the right way??

Terrible customer service! Can't reach anyone over the phone to get any help. You just get put on hold or transferred.

We must recognize Mr. Sam Waltont as one of the greatest American businessmen for taking one obscure store from one of the smallest states in America and building it up into a super giant and titan of American general merchandising with thousands of branches globally that employ hundreds of thousands of people, generating hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue.
