K-9 Direction By Alan Brown

Our dog was a rescue and needed alot of training. I tried several methods, i.e. petstore, perfect dog sustem, etc. I was not successful until I stared attending Alan's classes. It is a great method that works. Our dog is like a new dog. He listens, he no longer has destructive tendencies and I walk him unleashed, confident that he will listen to me. I only wish I would have started the day we adopted our dog. Alan is in high demand. However he holds classes across the metroplex six days a week and you can attend as many as you like with his unlimited option. I highly recommend K-9 Direction for every dog owner.

We have been training our dogs with K-9 direction for over 4 years. We first decided we needed some help with training, when one of our dogs Chance a large dog (135lbs) would chase squirels and take who ever was on the end of the leash with him on his hunt. Well after being dragged in the dirt and dislocated my shoulder we looked for help and found K-9 Direction. Allan was able to provide us with the directions to properly train Chance and within weeks we were in control. Allan also helped us work with Chance on other issues we had such as aggression with strangers. I would recommend K-9 Direction but note training just doesn't stop when you leave class you need to continue teaching them what they learn at home.

Chance has since passed from cancer, but we enjoyed working with Allan so much that we have signed up our new puppy with Allan and we continue to train our Pyr, Laine.

I contacted this individual by phone and set up a meeting time for him to come and meet my husband and I in our home to evaluate the dog we rescued from a local breed specific rescue group. He did not keep the appointment we set, and I called and again he told me he would call me back to reschedule. I waite a few days and again no return call. The dog needing training attacked one of our other dogs. We were needing training assistance and I feel if this person would have just told me he does not have time or desire to work with us I could have found another trainer and the attack could have been avoided.
