Overall

DANIEL ERANA is a reckless valet and not held accountable. Motorcyclist BEWARE! An extremely unpleasant experience on the weekend of the 14th of June. A buddy parked his motorcycle in the parking garage. in the "Motorcycle and Bike" parking area that is adjacent to the small office in the basement area. He checked in on the 13th. When he checked on his Harley the following day. he saw that it had been hit, damaged and knocked over by a car. It was put back on it's kickstand. Not a one man job with the handlebars locked. He talked to the parking manager who identified himself as DANIEL ERANA that works for CENTRAL PARKING and is in charge of the valets and the parking, although that is transparent to you as a guest as he and his valets are the first thing you see when you pull up to the Hyatt. He at first tried insinuate that the bike was took it out the prior night and did the damage. After being told him to call the police and check his cameras. He then went away and came back and admitted that one of the valets hit it. NO ONE made and effort to make contact and tell him of the damage. He did however, get a claim number and some insurance paperwork. When he got back to North Carolina and tried to get the claim resolved he was denied because this individual now denies that he admitted it to him and another friend. After speaking several times to this guys direct supervisor, that seems to be where it ends. BEWARE. The valets in this hotel obviously have no regard for your personal property and have no problem lying to keep themselves out of trouble. The hotel was OK but the whole experience wasn't worth the $3,800 in damages to his motorcycle. The Hyatt has had one of their managers call him several times as well but that too seems to be a dead end. Save yourself the time, effort and money before entrusting these clowns to your property.
