Overall

It all started bad. I called to make an appointment yesterday afternoon, and after 3 dropped calls they were finally able to book me for this morning at 10am. with a girl named Sarah or something. I got there 5 mins early (I knew shop opened at 10) she got there 10 mins late and as she walked through the door, we were already seated waiting for her, I turned to make eye contact and smiled. She had a disgruntled look and did not smile back, instead she looked away and went straight to the back where she took another 10mins putting away and fidgeting with who knows what. When she finally came out, she set up one of the barber chairs and said "who's getting a cut?" no 'Good Morning', 'sorry I'm late' nothing. I looked at her puzzled as I walked to the chair. Women usually get seated in the back section of the shop since it is for women, no? i didn't question it and sat down, she then asked 'how do you want it?' friendly much? She didn't introduce herself so I never got to confirm if this was Sarah. Then I told her I had a picture because I didn't know how to explain it, I showed her and she automatically said, 'Thats not gonna work' then I waited for an opinion or suggestion, and got nothing. So I proceeded to ask questions and she started arguing with me about how my hair was thin at the bottom and I asked her "ok then what can I do?" because as a hairstylist she should be able to help me decide what looks best no? well, she kept arguing with me over the bottom of my hair? I know I should've walked out then and there but I decided to give her one last chance. I have no idea why, but I did. She started chopping and chopping hair off, and I kid you not...it was fast and by 1035 I was out of the shop. She didn't align the sides to make sure they were even, or trim my bangs, or ask me anything during the process. She just handed me the mirror and said, 'hold it' turned the chair and said 'look', she tossed my hair a bit and that was it. I was not happy with her service one bit. I never write reviews but felt the need to for this one. I have been to this shop before and my experience then was truly EPIC, my stylist was Elizabeth who went out of her way to make sure I liked my haircut and to my surprise...she no longer works there so I got stuck with this chick. She charged me $18, did not blow-dry or wash or any type of hair product or even apply water! my hair was out of the shower but not drenched. Its always been $12 but I'm sure she knew I wouldn't tip. Never going back. Would give zero stars if possible.
