Las Palmas Mexican Restaurante

Food was cold (cold Fajitas, really?) and service was spotty and not professional. Even had to wait for the check.

The food is always good and portion sizes are good! The service is spotty. It's not uncommon to wonder if your server forgot about you.

Anyone would have wanted to walk out with the service we received last Wed. We arrived at las palmas about 7:10. Some co workers and I wanted to have our weekly outing at Las Palmas (we've gone there for a few years) our normal waitresses have left but we've still been dedicated giving the newer waiters a chance, its been about a year so they aren't brand new. About 30 min later arriving our waiter finally stops to ask us what we'd like to drink. as usual we order our 1st round of Margaritas. (Happy Hour is awesome) anywho he brings them to us 10 min later so we go ahead and order our food since it seems they'll be taking a min with our service since it took forever to even stop by. 3 min before 8 we had to go find our waiter to tell him we would like a 2nd round since he didnt ask? Who only drink one Margarita at Happy Hour uum hello. He brings out our 2nd drinks about 20 min later and then our food arrives from a different waiter about 10 min later, of course my sour cream I requested wasnt added so the guy had to bring me out some, took only a sec. I had asked for a corona with our 2nd round didnt even receive it, I asked him TWICE. Half way through the meal I went to ask a diff waiter for my corona since I was almost finished with the Margarita. It took her one min to bring it. Our friend left about 15 min later and had to go to the counter to pay. Me and another co worker stayed and chatted for a while, (we talked about how sucky this place was today). We were on our way to the restroom about 45 min after no sign of our waiter (since we hadnt seen him since we received our 2nd round)! he decides to stop us in mid travel and said "Whoa" , UUUM we're going to the damn restroom thanks for noticing us finally. Anyway we went to counter to pay afterwards and a TIP WAS NOT RECEIVED. They lost regular clients due to whomever our BS A** waiter was. I should have tipped the 2 waiters that brought our food and corona so puntually. We will be finding a new spot for our Mexico Outings.

Absolutely the best Mexican food in the area. The enchaladas are wonderful and the mushroom quesedilla is sooooo good, especially with added guacamole. Service is excellent both in store and order out. Staff is courteous and responds quickly to requests.
