Abel's Roofing

I'm a Sr estimator and general contractor. I contacted Abel and spoke to Abel about a potential project I wanted him to bid. He agreed to bid the project. I sent him PDF files of the roof and the architect specs. Abel said he bid the project (standing seam roof and bituminous roofing) a project worth about 25k.

Abel said he'd give me a bid within the week: nothing



I called Abel about 10x to get a response: he never answered the call or returned any of my message..

I've been in the construction business for more the 19 years.



I understand if a sub cant bid a project, but common curtesy should tell you to call the GC back and let him know you cant bid the project.

Or explain during the initial conversation that you cant bid the project.

None of that happened.

I called Abel and left 5 VM and no call back

As a contractor and Sr estimator for 19 yrs, the quality and workmanship of this contractor should be viewed precociously before signing any contract with Abel Roofing
