This response is the comment posted prior. We have been in business for 35 plus years with thousands of satisfied customers. I feel this comment is either bogus or should you actually have an issue it should have been brought up to our attention as everyone always askes "can we bring it to you for service if needed" ...I would like to point out a few important facts. First all consignment boats are sold as is as we will not warranty anyone else's product.Second many of our boats sit on a sales lot for a period of time and the batteries do get weak that is the reason for us charging them as well as people climbing into then and leaving switches on. If an engine dies it is not because of a charging system failure as an outboard will run with a battery disconnected or could be pull started at any time as a generates its own voltage to run the ignition system. If someone charge you $1,400 to repair something like this should this be a legitimate fact they are the thief has a voltage rectifier regulator on any engine cost no more than $250 in a worst-case scenario plus labor of approx $125.00 We service anything we sell and should this have been brought to our attention again being a legitimate complaint you would have been satisfied and we would have saved you hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Liar, cheat, told me boat was well maintained by older msn, no expense spared. It was on a battery charger when 5 arrived...for good reaso, the charging system was broken, it cost $1400 to fix it. He sold it on consignment, but had serviced the boat for years he said. When I ram it later it lost power as the batteries drained. It was not sold as is, this man is a liar and a cheat, beware!!!
