Middle Village Bakery & Farm Market

Middle Village Bakery is one of the first places I stumbled upon when I moved to the area nearly 5 years ago. I don't know of a bakery that reminds me so much of the bakeries I remember as a kid. Why visit? Well, my reasons are: Sourdough cranberry walnut bread, blueberry muffins, cranberry walnut muffins, sticky buns (honey buns) and virtually any pie at all; these are the things that keep me coming back. (Bring cash. They don't take cards.)

The best eclairs I've had since I left the East Coast 33 years ago!

Middle Village Bakery features some top-notch goodies. They have by far the very best carrot cake. It's moist and the icing is just perfect
