Free Service Tire

I received excellent service for my Chevy Cobalt. The price was right, and they went out of their way to get me in the shop when I was comparison shopping for labor cost.

I just left there today and was told that when I paid several hundred dollars for a tune up last year, they (Free Service) did not replace the plugs with factory approved parts and that the tune up did NOT include new wires. They were willing to take $46 dollars off a $350 estimate to replace the cheap plugs that were installed last year and install new wires. They quoted parts charges of TRIPLE what even you or I would pay for the same parts at an auto parts store. I purchased a "car care card" last year because it has 5 free oil changes on it. With each oil change, something costing $200 to $500 to fix. After each oil change, I took my car to a trusted mechanic and was told that there was nothing wrong with my car. Maybe they don't treat men like idiots, but they definitely try to screw women out of precious hard earned money using fear of what we don't know. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO ANY OF THEIR STORES AGAIN!! I will also be reporting them to the Better Buisness Bureau first thing Monday morning.
