Thai House

I never thought I would like Thai food, but my girlfriend and I went to the Thai house cause she loves Thai food and the Thai house is her favorite place for Thai food. The first Thai food I tried was the Pad Thai. It was delicious. The service there is great. The food is homemade from family recipes. And the people are very friendly. I will always go here for Thai food, cause I have tried other Thai places since I have started eating Thai food, but this place is the best.

Did not have a good experience there at all. The food is good. Actually it's great! The flavors & smells of the food are exceptional!
But you cannot have a good dining experience if the service is absolutely horrible!
I took my parents, my 16 year old sister & 6 year old brother here for dinner tonight. They seated us at a table. The table was absolutely empty. No plates, silverware, napkins. Not even a menu! Then the waiter (only one waiter for 14 tables) put placemats, plates & silverware down while we were sitting there. To me, that's unprofessional. The table should be set before hand. After 5 minutes of just sitting there the waiter asks, "Would you like to see a menu?". Duhh! We need to look at a menu to order right!!! So we finally get the menu's. He doesn't ask us what we want to drink or anything. Just gives us ice cold water. I asked for water with no ice for my little brother cuz he was sick...never got that water. After 13 minutes, they finally come take our order. It took them 40 minutes to make one dish that was like chow Mein, a medium sized bowl of curry chicken, a very small portioned chicken on a stick appetizer & steamed rice. I could've made that at home faster! Our appetizer didn't even come before the food. They brought it altogether! So we start eating. Asked for soy sauce. She couldn't give it to us cuz they had only one bottle in the whole restaurant & another customer was already using it. Not once did they ask if the food was good or if they could get us anything else or if we wanted dessert (and we did since it was my parents 21st anniversary). Didn't even refill our waters.
All 3 dishes we ordered were under $10 each. The bill comes & the total is $42. How on earth can 3 items, each less than $10 equal $42?!?! My mom took the bill to her & asked her why it was so much....because she charged us $11 extra for steamed rice for 3 people! Really? For white rice? $11? She claimed she made a mistake. And then the total was $31. What it should have been.
Our family eats out a lot because we love trying new places & such & this was the worst expeince we have ever had. Although the food was good, we will not be going here again.
