No longer a good place to go. They will not respond in a timely manner and don't even take vitals on clients who are disabled and cannot communicate. Appointment times are never honored and most staff are rude.

The absolute worst place on earth. You can never see a real Dr or even a nurse. Maybe a nurse practitioner or cna. Everyone is literally dumb as rocks. Not helpful. So irresponsible they didn't send my prescriptions so i went without medicine for two days. Absolutely horrific and so dirty. If i could i would give no stars. Stay away!

This place is a joke, my husb & I have both been there and seriously r the most incomputant group & worst customer service ever incountered n r lives! Out of desperation ended up there as a walk n & they purposely took me last....waited all day just for the idiotic dr to do nothing !!! He stated it would go away & do nothin. Helpless & frustrated I used the appl "dr n demand" recommened by tv show "the drs"! It was amazin, easy, convenient & dont have to sit n a nasty clinic that could care less with other ppls sicknesses was the best! I would nvr recommend Aspen to anyone, it was the worst experience of my life!!!

This is my second review for this organization. My first review praised how well I thought this office and it's staff were. But I have the last few and final appt. that myself and other family members have experienced were less then desirable. Dr. Jones used to be a caring and through person, but my husbands last visit was met with sarcasm and void of any concern about what was ailing him, and with examining him to make a rational decision he just said all he could do was take some medication and walked out. The nurses are also very very unorganized...my husband has to take medication everyday and when he had to have the prescription refilled it took them over a week and a half to get it right....by me having to call them daily just to find out that they were ordering the wrong medication. And now myself am facing the same problem. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GROUP

I thought that they were Great. Matt was friendly and competent. The referrals were quick. The prescriptions were sent in within 2 hours. My experience all good.

Every nice word about MATT,.he probably wrote himself! He IS NOT A DR! He is a sexist with a power trip! If you value your life and love your children...go elsewhere.

i been a paitent here at aspen for many years now. i have a daughter who life has changed since i first started comming to this wonderful place. before i heard about Aspen i was worried my daughter wasnt going to want to be seen by another Dr. shes been through alott with diffrent Dr ect. but when she first met a wonderful man name Matt everthing changed. hes put a smile to her face once again and she loves to see him all the time we go ....(even if it isnt for her the visit) hes done so much for me and my family i just cant thank him enough. the staff are so nice and they always seem to welcome you with open arms. THNKS ASPEN FAMILY :)

I don't plan on changing doctors for a long time. If ever. I've been going to Aspen for about 12 yrs. now. Sometimes i've been upset with a visit, but it's only cause I like to think i'm right alot. Lol. But thats why their doctors and i'm not. I've always get the best of care. Their very good at helping with finacial difficulties if need be. They are all out a very good medical office.

I've been going here for nearly twelve years and have been happy with all phases of the group. I'm happy to give a good review now that I've found the right place to enter it. Lovely people.

if you're looking for the mayo clinic this aint it but if you want competent ,affordable mental and health services there is no other clinic in Modesto I would go to. Matt is an angel and he gave hope to a hopeless situation after seeking mental health services for my daughter. i really feel that Matt and all the staff at Aspen saved my daughter from a terrible descent into mental illness. THANK YOU ASPEN AND MATT! You are the best.

Aspen Family Medical Group has provided excellent medical services for me. The staff are competent,caring and empthetic. My needs are met in a timely manner. I would definately recommend Aspen to my family and friends.

Matt is the reason we go to aspen! all of the other have always been great also but matt has made an impression on our family! he is outspoken but always correct! (so listen! :) we have learned throughout the years that they are about so much more than seeing the doctor! they often help people who can not otherwise get care or medication! they do work that others will not! (sadly) they see lots of people their but they also know who my family is- i look forward to visiting them when we have to go!

My experience at Aspen was a very great experience.

My husband lost his job two years ago and we were left with no insurance for the first time.I started feeling really sick having shortness of breath and pain in my chest. I went to Golden valley clinic, the doctor there gave me antibiotics and sent me home.

After taking all my medication I didnt get better I thought I needed more antibiotics. My friend told me about Aspen she said that they only charge $45.00 which was better then what I paid at Golden valley $80.00. I called to make an appointment and loved that they got me in the same day . when I saw the provider I told him that I had been given antibiotics and they didnt work , he told me that the reason they didn't work was because I had allergies that were causing my symptoms.

He gave me two medication inhalers and told me to take a over the counter allergy medication he also said since I didn't have insurance I could come back and pick up more inhalers when the ones he gave me finish.

All my symptoms went away and that was when I first found out that I had allergies.

Iam very thankful for Aspen Family Medical for being there for people who don't have insurance and helping them get medication when they cant afford them.

Thank you for taking my daughter in as a walk in taking in consideration how sick she was an very happy with how fast, efficient, and friendly is your staff i definetly recomend anybody they are specially wonderful with kids i had a great experience and i dont like when people you try to give great doctors and there staff bad fame specially when they are just doing there job trying to help everysick patient that goes in if there so busy they must be doing something right so i give u guys ten stars **********

All too often people do not take the time to talk about positive experiences. So, I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the doctors and staff of Aspen Medical Group, with a special thanks to Matt Frietas in particular. The office is not new or modern, but it is clean and well organised, and the staff are always respectfull and professional. Many people in my position would be without healthcare if it wasn't for places like Aspen Medical, and I feel I have always received the best care possible. With Aspen Medical it's all about the patients and not about the money. I give them a ten out of ten, and ask them to keep up the good work. There are a lot of us out here that truly appreciate everything you do.

I wish there were an option for 0 stars! Im convinced that the only positive reviews were probably written by the horrible staff! I was afraid of catching something just from entering the disgusting, filthy facility! And the office staff have a combined I Q of 12! I wont say HIS name (initials M.F.) A nurse prac' NOT a dr (dont think he is aware of that fact) is unprofessional, a sexist, and if he has an issue wth you personallu, youre as good as dead! Not to mention the crotchity old bat of an office manager! She billed my ins wrong over and over and acted as if it were my fault when I had to correct her and take care of it myself! Rudest staff I have encountered ever...anywhere! Do not, I repeat DO NOT choose this office, especially if you have a life threatening illness or children that need med attention! That Freitas should lose his lisence and if Reldon Jones knew wht really goes on in this office, he would not want to be affliated! Did I mention the front office staff hahaha ignorant morans!

If you value your life, you will do well NOT to go here. They jump through hoops NOT to treat you. every patient is just another chance to make money. When I went there, the doctor wouldn't even enter the room. She stood outside the door to talk to me (I was in there for back pain so it's not like I was contagious). The staff is HORRIBLE as well. I tried to explain a problem with Janet and she rudely interjected by yelling "Is there a question in there somewhere?".



To conclude, they are HORRIBLE, RUDE, NEGLECTFUL, RUDE, GREEDY, and, oh yeah, RUDE!

I hate it when people ruin a business' reputation for no good reason. I decided to go to the clinic because I couldn't find another doctor in town who would see me that day. I can't tell you how surprised I was that they promised me that I could come in any time without an appointment, that the visit only cost $45, and that the staff and doctors were respectful and professional. I almost fell over when they told me that they would help me to reduce my cost for meds from about $200/mo. to $20!

Aspen is a special place

HAHAH this is hillarious a patient wrote this great review. It is funny as I have been a patient for 7 years and the care has gotten so bad. I went and saw the doctor 4 times told him there was something terribly wrong with me he keeps telling me gatorade and tylenol. Turns out when I went to ER I have gastritis and ulcers and a bacteria that can cause cancer if untreated.Tylenol is the last thing you should take with these conditions as they make them worse. I was very concerned when I expressed that to the office manager and she was very cold and rude. I then expressed to them that I will file a medical claim if they don't correct there mistakes.I came in for a visit, Matt spoke with me and told me that he will take good care of me and gave me some samples (march 27th the same day the great rating was writin. Then 2 weeks later I recieved a letter from them stating that they will no longer provide me with care. They are full of it. Awful care.the whole line about founder reldon jones was the same wording in the letter I recieved. THESE PEOPLE ARE BS!!
