I had written a reply some time ago, but it seems to have vanished. I'll write a new one now, with updated information. I do have an office now, but I only meet clients by appointment there. That's because clients want to secure their property, not my office. I go to them so I can see their property and design a system that meets their needs. I am a real alarm company, I hold a license issued by the state. You can verify that this license is valid and current at www.bsis.ca.gov. As for being a joke, the 11 guys we're responsible for being arrested aren't laughing, but the property owners who no longer have theft and vandalism issues are! We're a veteran owned and operated business, quite literally a mom and pop. Does your alarm company respond to their own alarms? Was your system designed by someone who's cleared dark buildings at two in the morning with a flashlight and a gun? Is their name on the side of the squad car, much less on the business itself? Call me day or night. You'll get a live person, and it won't be an answering service. If you get my voice mail, I'm either in a cellular dead zone or too busy chasing bad guys to answer the phone. My husband and I recently had the privilege of working with Art Dunn Alarm Company. He came highly recommended by a local security company. We had an older alarm system that had not been activated in many years. Art came in, checked the system out completely, and got it working; no problem. He never pressured us to buy an updated system.



Art was knowledgeable, polite, patient and professional at all times. He worked with us for many hours, at a time that was convenient for us (even on a weekend), thoroughly testing and explaining every aspect of our system. His thoroughness was impressive to say the least.



Our family feels safe and secure now that we have our alarm system activated and monitored, knowing that an armed agent will respond if our alarm goes off. We no longer need to worry about the slow response time of the under staffed and overworked MPD officers.



Art can offer you the same peace of mind that he has given us; and all this service for a very affordable price. I doubt that a larger company would be able to give such personalized service or match his fee. He had the best price of all the companies that we researched.

Stay Away!!. This guy is a hack. Runs an "Alarm" company from his garage. All he is really doing is selling you a contract with a real alarm company. The "company" doesn't even have a web site and will not invite you to their office. That's because there isn't one. Don't be scammed by yet another fly by night "alarm operator" who only wants to get your upfront fees then disappear like so many other con artists. A Security company is someone you trust with your life right, why would you hire someone who starts off with dubious credibility? Play it safe, hire someone who's name you know and who has credibility in the industry and a proven track record. This guy is a joke, don't be the punchline.
