Linda's Camp K-9

I dont recommend this place at all, very bad business and there are dog fights there , and it's just not a good place

My dog, a Newfoundland, was seriously injured while she was boarded at Linda's Camp K-9 from June 14 - 20, 2014. Employees admitted that she was left wet overnight, resulting in her contacting moist dermatitis. She had gaping bloody, pus-filled sores all over her face (up to her eye), on her chin, and on her neck and chest. We took her to the emergency vet after she stopped eating and we discovered the open wounds, and then to our regular vet on a follow-up visit two days later. She was prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and painkillers, with a total vet bill of almost $400.

When we contacted the owner to let her know what had happened, we were hung up on, faxes of the vet bills were mysteriously never received (we ended up having to drop them off physically), and finally we were simply told that they would not be reimbursing us for the cost of boarding or for the vet bills. Then, owner Linda Candler publicly called us liars and said this is a "classic case" of us trying to get out of paying the bill. We had been loyal customers for almost two years, spent literally thousands of dollars, always paid right away with debit cards or credit cards, and had never complained before. Why would we make up a story like this? We are flabbergasted that she is adding insult to injury by calling us liars in spite of the photographic proof.



The owner is completely unprofessional and has been appalling in her treatment of us. She refuses to take responsibility for her negligence. Our dog suffered greatly as a result of being boarded here. I am sharing our story in the hope that no one else will have to go through what we have gone through.
