Riverdale Pediatric Dentistry

I agree with the previous review by martha379. When we were interviewing for providers, the office looked attractive and they seem kind and friendly so we choose them instead. But after my son became a regular patient...and need some dental work, we have experienced horrible service by the dentist (Dr. Darcy) and the billing office. Let me summarize this dental clinic motto with he famous movie line - SHOW ME THE MONEY..it is all about getting paid... We have experience "Dr. Darcy's" irritation. He had to get an infected tooth pulled and was upset and crying because the tooth was hurting. She was very irritated, impatient. Someone like this should not be working with kids. The entire purpose of a pediatric dental clinic is to be able to deal with little kids and make them less fearful of the dental clinic. I was shocked but could not say anything at the time because my son was in so much pain.

This clinic is also ridiculously expensive. They charge 40-50% more for the same dental service as other pediatric clinic. They have questionable billing practices - make assumptions that insurance will not pay for something and won't even bill them for charges but will give me a "discount" if I pay them directly. I am currently filing a complaint with my dental insurance. I have also found a new clinic for my child. I refuse to pay the salary of a greedy dental clinic who cares very little for the patient.
