The story everyone loves a good story. While they CAN produce both laughter and tears. Stories generally share ONE thing in common: they evoke feelings from within OUR soul. Reminding US of sacred moments from OUR past. Or stimulating OUR imagination of things YET to BE experienced. OLD JOE funk was started by TWO brothers in remembrance of OUR grandpa M. Born in 1909. HIS stories always made US laugh; HIS tiny. Cramped workshop made US feel happy and alive. AS we spent hours creating "priceless" hand crafted furniture; HIS STRAIGHT-FROM-THE-JAR peanut butter and jelly toast could rival the priciest entree AT a a 5-STAR restaurant. In september of 2005. We began discussing taking ONE of Grandpa's stories about a death defying ride on a motorcycle side CAR in a midwestern ICE storm and turning it into a T shirt. Thus was born the original OLD JOE funk T shirt. "the sidecar. " although it has taken 8 years to turn this idea into reality. We are proud to present the OLD JOE funk line. Each of OUR custom designed. Comfortable T shirts tell a story. We plan on revealing the story behind each ONE. AS well AS releasing NEW shirts. Each with there OWN story. Throughout the year. And that is OUR story. We hope that YOU enjoy OUR inspired designs and proudly wear an OLD JOE funk while YOU create your OWN stories!.
