Axel did a HORRIBLE job on my roof. They promised 10 years warranty on my roof and two times there was a water leak the first was a $1,650 replace and repair paid by me because he never showed up to replace it. The second time i had to hire an attorney to get Axel to come and repair my roof. The job was done by workers with no knowledge of the business they do not replace or repair the original materials. They simply patch up the work. More over Axel showed no interest in seeing the work done by his incompetent staff. I even sent him pictures and until today my roof is still leaking and he does not answer my calls. I paid over $14,000 and for the WORST roofing job in my history as a homeowner. Axel Galdamez doesn't answer phone calls with all the water damage from his crappy job done by his Company and he never comes to apologize and repair what they damaged, he lets undocumented staff do the crappy job and at the end my house had more damages done by his staff than the hurricane had done from all the leak of the rain. Do not give your money to incompetent people. it's today and he never answered my calls and texts to come back and do the repairs but he will come back with a District Attorney and Judge citations since he has been 2 times in jail for Insurance Fraud. This is Federal Fraud. Someone will be waiting in jail to fix your issues to be doing this repeatedly to people. Not a good reputation this company with this record that i failed to check first before giving him my money. Google first Axel Galdamez to see his record.

A man named Gerardo Santos runs the company AG Star Construction. Be cautious about conducting business with this man! He is a conniving, impolite, thieving, dishonest man.
We hired him to fix the roof of our house in Miami, we are currently living in another state. Gerardo Santos sent me an estimate that included all materials for the repair. He even told me that the roof tiles, my house has, would be more expensive because they are old style and are not made that way anymore. When I went to Miami to check on the house, I found out he took the roof tiles from my back yard (leftover from a previous repair) to fix the roof instead of buying the roof tiles he charged me for. At no point he let me know or offered me a discount for using roof tiles that he took from my yard. He did it behind my back. When I called him to clear up the issue, he refused to pickup the phone!
Not only does this man have terrible ethics, but his work is garbage! I was told that the job was done terribly and the leak he was supposed to repair is just smaller than it was before the repair. In the attic, there is clear water damage from the leak visible from the "repair". DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. I hope this will help you to decide against using this company. Check others reviews as well, that was something I should had done first, my bad, but you still have time!

A positive new roof experience. All done in an acceptable time frame. Very pleased. Would definitely recommend them. Thank you AG Star team!

Manny and Federico were very nice during the estimate. However; the installation was not done well. There was tar showing outside the roof tile and the worksite was left unsafe. There were nails and wood chips left in my gutters and back yard which was extremely unsafe and unprofessional. When i told Manny about it he did come out to clean up but my experience was already ruin. I figure they would do something to restore my trust but nothing else was done. This experience was not worth 2600; however, you live and learn.
