Previously, I was working with a mortgage company that had given me a lot of wrong information that would have cost me a higher price/interest rate for my home. I was devastated to say the least from all of the lies and false information given. These actions lead me to
Global Financial Mortgage Group.

The staff at Global Financial Group worked hard to reconstruct my loan and saved my home. The management was experienced and had the expertise that was needed to close on my home loan.

I thank God for this group. If you need help with gaining knowledge on steps to qualify for home owner shp this is the place to be.

I was working with another mortgage company that really did a bad job qualifying me for my home. The unprofessionalism and lack ok knowlege of that company almost made me lose my home.

During this unfortunate situation, God blessed me to meet Reginal Purham. Mr. Purham worked with me closely and had to reconstruct my loan. I am so thankful to God for the expertise, skills and professionalism from Global Financial. I am mow in my home. Not only am i a satisfied custumer, i have referred other family and friends and they are now home-owners, too

Overall
We were at their office within...

We were at their office within 24 hours (well 48 because this was a Friday and we went in the following Monday) with a cosigner for my wife, and a bank again purchased the loan. We began the process over, and got a commitment letter from this bank. So our offer was finally accepted. Because we had a letter from a bank, the seller had us sign a contract to pay for half of a new HVAC unit because the original unit was stolen. Instead of a new unit they put in a brand new HVAC system, new unit, new ducts, new thermostat, everything to the tune of $2740.00 (that's just my half.) Now we have been after Global to have the appraisal done, and ran into the same problems. Nine SOLID days of e-mails not returned, phone messages not returned (they don't answer their phones by the way. You will always leave a message that is promised to be returned in 24 hours. It won't be, let me save you the shock.)

We finally were offered a conference call with them and (we assumed) the bank that bought our loan. This was the day before we were supposed to close (4/27/2011). They informed us that they had not received the accepted contract for the real estate deal. Naturally this infuriated us because we, at this point, have had the contract for two weeks, and our realtor faxed it to them.

Their response to this was "what fax number did you send it to?" At this point it was too late for that question, and we needed to move. They gave us a list of information that they were missing...information that we had readily available, and could have given to them at any time had they replied to any of our repeated phone calls or e-mails telling us they needed it. They said they needed this before we could turn the information over to the bank for our loan to be underwritten, we got it all to them within an hour (not 24, not 12, 1 single hour) and they again did not respond to our e-mails and calls.

The next morning (day of closing) the seller's agent told us they needed a letter either from Global Financial or the bank that purchased our loan before they would accept our application for an extension. This was on April 28, 2011 in the middle of that swarm of storms that wiped out most of the mid-south and southeast. Global's power was out and they were forced to work from smart phones and home offices, which is an ample and perfect excuse for them to use right? Well they had another bout of bad communication, not as bad as before because in our conference call we had berated them about their lack of communication, but still only every five hours or so, and even then with an e-mail promising a call or e-mail at a later time, which we got, though usually half an hour to an hour late, and only because we called, or e-mailed again asking them where the promised response was.

All the seller wanted was a letter from our financial institution, either Global Mortgage or the bank that purchased our loan, and they would not produce it. They keep telling us that they are waiting on something from the bank, but a letter from them would suffice. They simply do not wish to attach their name to it I believe. The problem is today is May 3, 2011 and the seller is going to cancel our contract. If you can believe it they have given us an extremely generous FIVE EXTRA DAYS before they cancelled our contract and put a house we should be moving into back on the market. We have again told Global Financial repeatedly that all we need is a letter from them. They promised us a call at 1PM today, and we never got it. It is now 8:40 PM, May 3, 2011, I can almost guarantee you my contract on my house has been cancelled, I have possibly lost my thousand dollars in earnest money, and my house will be put back on the market tomorrow with a brand new HVAC unit that I have signed a contract to pay for half of...that I cannot afford. All on a house I should be moving into right now, but will probably belong to someone else soon.

When my wife and I prepared to...

When my wife and I prepared to buy our first house we were recommended Global Financial by a business colleague. We first approached Global Financial Mortgage everything seemed amazing. The helped us find a loan right away, seemingly with no worry about my bankruptcy of 2010. After about a week of phone calls and e-mails trying to get a commitment letter from the bank they sold my loan to, I tried a different institution. The different institution was amazingly helpful, though as we suspected could not help me because of my bankruptcy.

We returned to e-mailing and leaving messages with Global Financial with no response. When we finally received word from them; we got the news we expected. A Jr. Underwriter accepted our loan based on our credit scores alone (I have spent the last year rigorously rebuilding my score and it's not too bad now) and a Sr. Underwriter vetoed it because of my Bankruptcy.
