Oral Cancer Screening
Six month dental checkups and cleanings are necessary for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Every machine requires regular maintenance, and your mouth is no different. What happens during this appointment? First, Dr. Rose will perform a visual examination for tooth decay, gum disease, or problems with old dental work. Digital x-rays help her identify problems that may be lurking beneath the surface. She’s not just checking for decay and infection -- Dr. Rose also performs an oral cancer screening, as part of your checkups. When problems are detected, we are prepared with services in restorative dentistry, like tooth-colored fillings, porcelain crowns, and more.

Teeth Cleaning

Fluoride Treatment
So how does Zoom! work? First, we’ll cover your gums, lips, tongue, and cheeks with a protective shield. Then, each of your teeth will be covered with the bleaching solution, which will penetrate the tooth enamel and dentin once activated by the UV light. After three applications of the light, we’ll apply an enamel-strengthening fluoride treatment to complete your whitening.
Dental Sealants
We may also recommend additional preventive treatments, such as a fluoride varnish or dental sealants. They give your child an added layer of protection to ward off tooth decay.

Fillings
Composite fillings are often referred to as tooth-colored fillings, since they are tinted to match the exact color of a patient's tooth structure. New materials allow us to create virtually undetectable composite restorations that have the appearance, strength, and function of an intact, natural tooth. Unlike metal fillings, composites are actually bonded or cemented into the tooth which provides superior strength and longevity. They also contain no harmful metals such as the mercury found in amalgam fillings.
Resin Composite
Traditionally, cavities and minor dental chips and cracks were repaired with amalgam fillings. While these materials offered durable and long lasting restoration for damaged teeth, they also marred the appearance of the smile with their dark or silver color. Additionally, metal fillings were held in place by wedges carved into the healthy tooth structure, which meant unnecessary impact on healthy enamel. Composite resin is a putty like material that combines glass and plastic materials that can be shaded to blend seamlessly into the smile line.
Veneers

Crowns

This computer assisted design and manufacture system allows us to design, craft, and place a custom, high quality restoration in just one visit.

Root Canal Treatment
