Ringuettes Leisure Shores Marina

Sent this marina owner 1800 back in feb
without even a contract ( I am too trusting)
and then had a horrible situation come up in my family which may keep me from boating this summer. I called and asked for the money back in March ( it was clearly obvious I didn't cost him any slips as he still has slips available now) and after I told him this very sad story involving health of a family member he said he " would think about it"
I then reminded him that he never gave me a contract to sign and the fact that he still had plenty of slips was proof that he didn't lose a nickel on me . . At worst he has had my money for interest. He told me a month ago after another call he would return my check after he spoke to his accountant. I even told a few friends about the marina as the slips are at a very low price and in a great fishing area but still haven't seen my money back. Then I even sent him another letter in a big envelope with a smaller stamped envelope all addressed to make it as easy as possible to send back a check. Nothing yet still !
I have a lot of buddies with boats that fish around the cape and have obviously stopped telling anyone else to check this place out. I don't think he has a shot in small claims court and hate to go that route but will if I have to.
The stories I am reading below don't give me a lot of confidence now he will give me my check back .
I think if I do take him to court I can up the amount for the time etc...
as for the marina itself-- it looks like he may have some environmental issues with the docks which are floating on huge raw chunks of Styrofoam that just break apart with white petro based pollution floating everywhere ( not sure if that stuff is legal)
that can't be good for the fish or other

The owner of this marina (Bob Ringuette) is one of the biggest crooks in the country. His business operations at his marina reflect his personal characteristics: manipulating, greedy, immoral and human indecency.

BEWARE! This man will use loopholes in his contracts to snake money from you at all costs. He will even use the law loopholes to "legally" steal your boat away from you. DO NOT EVER DOCK YOUR BOAT OR VISIT THIS MARINA!

This opinion is generally shared by many of his clients, I am just the first to publish it. STAY AWAY, PAY A LITTLE MORE SOMEWHERE ELSE. Trust me...This place is not worth the headache or anxiety.
