        Martinez Junior High School is a public, coeducational middle school that enrolls more than 950 students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as English, language arts, music, social studies, physical education, science and mathematics. The school s parent-teacher-student association organizes several fundraising events to support academic, athletic and social happenings at the campus. It provides opportunities to students to participate in guitar and ping pong clubs. The school s campus includes a library, auditorium, fitness laboratory with mirror room, more than 40 classrooms, two gymnasiums, and industrial technology and computer laboratories. Located in Martinez, Calif., it is a part of the Martinez Unified School District.
