Mansions of Mansfield Apartments

These apartments are awful! I have only been living there for 2 months and I already regret my choice. First of all I agree with the other two reviews about the buildings not being built adequately. Fortunately I am not on the first floor, but I have had my neighbor downstairs knock at my door and ask if my children were running or jumping. My kids were actually sitting down watching a movie while I cleaned up. What my downstairs neighbor was hearing was just me walking from room to room. I am not a heavy person so it is ridiculous that my neighbor can hear my footsteps. Luckily I have a very understanding downstairs neighbor. Second, my apartment is facing hwy 360... I had no idea that I would not be able to enjoy my balcony or my sleep because of the traffic noise. It is unbearable! Third but certainly not least, their staff, including the manager, are rude and extremely hard to deal with. The pool closes at 10 pm and if you are at the pool at 10:02 pm they will send the maintenace man/woman with her huge dog to escort you out of the pool. She will talk to you as if you are a child and if you report it to the management company they do absolutely nothing about it. They feel that if you were there 2 minutes past 10pm you broke the rules, and it justifies the maintenance workers to speak to you as if you were their 2 year old child. I will definitely not be signing a lease with Mansions of Mansfield again.

Just moved out of these God Awful apartments and I'm so happy. First moved into these when they were first built and based my decision on the look because they look really nice but they are built very poorly. If you're deciding to move into these apartments I should warn you. Don't even consider getting a first floor apartment your like will, I repeat, will be miserable and there's nothing the managers, you nor the upstairs tenants can do about it. You can literally hear ppls conversations, using the restroom, taking a shower, one pound puppies sounding like freight trains or herds of buffalo. This is the kind of thing you're going to have to deal with whether you're upstairs or downstairs minus the stomping problem, but then you have to worry about being called on everyday by downstairs tenants.



Word to the wise just don't do it, you'll regret it if you do!

My family and I were one of the first to move into these apartements in August of 2008 when they weren't even finished with all of the apartments. At first we thought they were very nice apartements until we discovered how thin and poorly built they are. The apartments' walls and insulation are so thin you can hear the other tenants showering, flushing the toilet, talking, washing their clothes and dish washer, and even using the restroom among other unmentionable things. Even with all of this everything was still manageable until someone moved in above us 5 months ago. We can hear their 5 pound dog running back and forth so early in the morning and late at night that we never get any good sleep becuase he sounds like a freight train or rumbling thunder...Awful! We've complained numerous times of the upstairs tenants making other loud noises very late and early but the apartment management wont do anything about it; probably because they get calls like ours all day long. If I were deciding which apartments to move into I would not choose this apartment again. We plan to move at the end of our lease which is very soon and I hope we're able to get some sleep for a change.
