Located in Mandeville, La., the Mandeville City Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency. It has an operations division that is comprised of criminal patrol, investigations and communication units. The division provides basic patrol, traffic safety, investigative and communication services. The Mandeville City Police Department also maintains support services division that oversees daily activities of the police department. It performs duties related to criminal records, school resource programs, neighborhood watch, crime prevention, and fleet and facility maintenance. The department s criminal investigations division is responsible for the investigations of felony crimes, cases involving serious misdemeanors, juveniles, narcotics, vice, collection and storage of evidence and property and preparing cases for prosecution. The Mandeville City Police Department also provides special services for processing of crime scenes, handwriting analysis and polygraph examination.
