I have never written a review! I signed up just to write this!

We recently moved to Madison from Nashville. I have been going to Walmart for eye exams for years with never having a problem. Went yesterday for an exam. Should have been only charged for an exam and was charged an extra $35 for a free pair of trial contacts! (That last sentence should not make sense to you!) this is what we were told later!



Every year I get an exam and a trial pair of contacts for around $79 (whatever the price of an exam) then I go into the eyeglass office attached to buy boxes of contacts (normally around 20 a box with SIX contacts per box!!) not to mention I also walk away with a small bottle of solution and contact case! (((( Did not this time! )))

When I went to check out the girl told me the total. I asked her why it was so much and she said that was the price of the exam! When I left I realized I was charged for a fitting fee!? When my husband called, the girl said it was 35 for the free pair of contacts! If that were the case I would have let them keep their one pair and would have bought a whole box. Other wise they were very nice but buyer beware!!! Call it what you want it's stealing!

It seems that lately when I go to Wal-Mart they have everything except what you are looking for. I went to this particular Wal-Mart to find a tether cord for my iPOD. I go into electronics and the aisle that probably had the item I was looking for was turned upside down while 3 associates were doing inventory. I asked if they had what I was looking for and they ignored me with one of those WE MAKE MINIMUM WAGE AND WE BUSY SO WE AINT GOT NO TIME looks on their face. I expect this sort of attitude and demeanor at any of the Jackson locations but not in Madison. I will stick to Target as much as possible from now on.
