        I have a few gold coins and I new the market value of these coins going into Little Johns, and he knew the market value of the coins also. I was willing to sell at 10% less than market value but John insisted on 15%. He made $45 but he also knows the price of gold is going up . So I am not completely happy but I did need the money in a hurry - without waiting to mail it in to a well established broker.

        I had a 14K necklace and bracelet to sell. Little John's offered $200 less (30%) than another pawn shop in town.
