We love this place! We used to live around the corner and now not that much farther and love getting to go there. The food is excellent, the baked goods are delicious, and it's a cozy atmosphere to hang out. Nice to run into people they are too, it's that kind of friendly place.

My husband ordered a delicious cake for me here at the Village Bakery for Mother's Day and it was super delicious. We definitely will be returning soon to buy more delicious baked goods.

Love their "Atwater Special" for lunch, which is eggs, spinach, crumbled bacon and tomato over grilled polenta with crispy parmesan cheese. They have awesome "cronuts," and it's hard to walk away without a loaf of their fresh-baked cheese bread. Scoring a table can be a little stressful when it's busy on the weekends, and prepare to scout street parking.

Our go-to weekend brunch spot! Love that you can pay first and that it's super kid friendly! My daughter loves the side French toast or pancakes and my husband loves their daily specials. Great homemade sourdough bread and jam too!! My only complaint is lack of tables sometimes and parking of course.

The Village Bakery is sort of like Cheers for people who have small children... If you live in the neighborhood, they know your name (and probably your kids too!). You can walk in anytime that they are open and be greeted by a smiling face and an amazing pastry. A neighborhood gem.

Tasty yet.....

Cool spot. Large communal tables and good ole street parking.

So now down to the food.Ok so I had the brioche french toast, in the beginning it was tasty but I then started to taste something similar to a lunch item, which leads me to believe they cook breakfast and lunch on he same griddle. I'm not saying it wasn't yummy just I don't want my breakfast to taste like lunch unless I order it that way.

The latte was yummy.

Awesome breakfast/lunch option

A colleague took me to this restaurant and it was fantastic. Breakfast is served all day and seating is plentiful including bench tables. The menu options are petty diverse ranging from eggs, sandwiches and salads. Would definitely go there again.
