Founded in 1960, 112th Street Elementary School offers a variety of educational and extracurricular activities. It enrolls students in kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, language arts, health and physical education. 112th Street Elementary School organizes various multicultural and academic programs, such as spelling bee competitions and extended learning classes. It also offers a psychomotor program that includes guidance on playing a variety of games, having good sportsmanship and respecting others. The school is located in Los Angeles and is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. In addition, it has a computer lab that teaches students to conduct research, type documents, learn keyboarding skills and practice concepts in software game programs. 112th Street Elementary School offers a school-based program that provides medical support to families, as well as support in other areas of family needs.
