Pither Plumbing

I own a rental property and an outside spigot was run over by a person mowing the yard. We called Pithers to get a quote on the charges and how long it would take to get someone out because the tenant did not know how to turn of the water from the main. They said about 10 minutes and quoted $94.00 per hour plus materials. No problem since they could get someone right out. When the plumber arrived to do the repair, he did not have the "right part" on the truck. When asked how many different spigots there are, he said that he would have to go back to his shop to get the right one because they do not keep everything on their trucks and he was in a different truck. I gues his truck had the right part in it. We called it in as a broken outside spigot so we figured from the information, they would know what to bring since they are the professionals. Well, since he is on the clock, you guessed it, we were charged for his running back and forth and when we asked the owner, Mrs. Pither, she said it was a "legitmate charge" and would not reduce the bill for the 30 minutes it took to go back to his office. ( we have a hardware store closer then that and could have saved money)..... I called the office after my wife in order to speak to the owner and was told that she had not seen the ticket and did not know "how the order was called in" nor did she know the story of the repair even though my wife spoke with her as well as the plumber and the tenant in attendance.

The plumber did a great job, very fast, and very prompt. We were charged $225.00 to replace on outside spigot, 47.00 of that is the down time going back to his shop. Consider being able to be the expert on the phone if you chose to use this company so they know which parts to bring out on a job. Then there should be no surprises.

Outstanding service! I had to have my main sewer line cleaned after a clogged toilet caused backflow to the bathtub. Ron and his apprenticeship were knowledgeable, fast, courteous, and professional. And the rate is more than reasonable. Highly recommended!

I've had Pither Plumbing do alot of the renovation work on an old 1950's house I bought and they have always come through with flying colors. This includes replacing the main sewer line all under concrete slab and driveway and multiple interior water, drain and gas relocations and repairs. This is a top notch company and I have nothing but praise for Patrick and the entire Pither Plumbing team.
