L George's Coney Island

This place used to be really good. But they have really gone down hill this year.

The booth seats are all torn up and the tables are wobbly.

I used to love their grilled chicken pitas, but I ordered one the other day and it looked and tasted like frozen, pre-cooked chicken that was microwaved. It was terrible.

I asked to have ranch instead of mayo on my pita on it and was told there was a 75 cent charge for that. Really?

The waitress got my order wrong so I had to wait. My husband was half way done with his meal by the time I got mine. She got two other orders wrong that I know of while we were there.

They let their waitresses wear cotton / Spandex shorts that are way too tight and show off some sad looking tatoos.

The time before when we were there, the waitress said she would be right with us and never came back. We tried to flag her down, but she ignored us. So we left. Did not even get a drink.

The one good thing I can say is that the coney dogs are still pretty good. But I don't think we will ever go back there again.

Just a diner but great food and friendly staff
