I worked with Brandon Campbell who initially came across knowledgeable and professional. I was wrong. He was late when we did meet and he didn't show up for our very first meeting in court. At the last minute he had another lawyer from the office step in who was not familiar with my case. I was happier with the other lawyer than Brandon. Although, typically only a hundred dollars or so, Brandon charged me once or twice for some things I didn't even know what they were for and even when the case was on hold. We parted ways half way through the case, so they took what I supposedly owed them out of my retainer. They then sent back the remainder. Months later, they actually sent me a bill and said I owed them more money. Communication with Brandon was poor. One of the team's secretaries would contact me at the last minute about things and then harass me for a response immediately. She was short in temperament, bossy and nasty. When I addressed it with her, she said nasty things to Brandon that I did not say in order to try and protect herself before I even talked with Brandon about it. I never did say anything to Brandon about her, but obviously should have addressed it immediately because Brandon came after me with a nasty email for something I didn't do. He did not communicate much personally; almost all of his communication was via email or through phone messages by his secretary, but he was very quick and liberal with his billing of his time. There was obviously a reason his secretary had a poor temperament. It came from above, as Brandon had a pompous, Napoleon Syndrome personality. They also deemed my case unimportant. I am sure because it was not a big money maker for him. I received a couple of phone calls and an email stating things very much like, we want to get this case over with as soon as possible or as his secretary stated, Brandon would like to finish this as quickly as he can. There was little commitment to and very little concern for my case. He wanted it to be a quick, effortless money maker. This is definitely not a lawyer you want to work with. In a nutshell he is arrogant, has a bad temperament, communicates poorly, did not seem to be very knowledgeable and is unreliable...but he is very quick to charge you for his....services.
