Cowgirl Attic

Cowgirl Attic is one of the most unique shops in Lexington. I find lovely items that I think are reasonably priced quite often. A lot of people think old means less expensive but their is great effort and expense put into removing mantles, moldings, stair railings, windows, doors. etc. It an old warehouse filled with architectual salvage, garden iron, antiques, furniture and objects de art, and alot of just cool stuff. You never know what you will find and they have the best garden things you have ever seen. They recieve a truckload of trellis, gate, fencing, arbors. planters, cast iron urns, gazebos and fountains and unique antique items throughout the year. I love the decor especially the room wallpapered with old book pages and horse items. They also carry old doors, antique hardware, mantles, old windows, cast iron bathtubs and sinks. You don't want to miss this place. I think the other reviewers must have hit the store on rare circumstances. Hey, small business have it tough in this economy and sometimes misunderstandings happen. The store has undergone some recent renovations and reorganization. The items have been organized better than in years prior. I think it would be a great mistake to miss this store.
