Charleston Antique Mall

I was pleasantly surprised on my recent trip to Vegas when I found that my old fav antique mall that had gone into such a sorry state of decline in recent years, had been re-named and rennovated! Red Rooster Antiques once was a great place to go, but had turned into a dirty old junk shop in the past few years. It was still worth going to, since the prices were so good and you'd still find a dealer or two who had good stuff. This trip, however, I found a completely new mall in the old RR building! It's now called the Charleston Antique Mall, and the new owners completely fixed the place up! The a/c works now so you don't roast or freeze when you're there. The structure has been fixed up so it doesn't look run - down & dangerous anymore. And best of all, there's a whole lot of really cool dealers in there now with really fantastic stuff. I was told that many of them are the old dealers that left when the RR when into it's junk-state. It was so nice to find great things at great prices once again, just like the old days. It faces Charleston Blvd., but you have to enter from behind off of Western Ave. and drive around to the front just like always. It's a definate "must visit" next time you go to Vegas!
