My dentist was retiring so I went to Dr. Burns. I had a tooth that needed to be removed and an implant done since it was visible when I smiled. The estimate (put into writing) was $6,000 ! Highest price around.

Dr. Burns is a gentle and patient dentist. His hygienists and staff are all professional. The business office handles insurance and the financing is reasonable. I have never experienced pressure to choose one financial solution over another. I can confidently recommend this practice for more than basic care. My brother had multiple dental problems that required a team of specialists in facial surgery, extracting impacted and malformed teeth and implants to replace missing teeth. Dr. Burns coordinated care over 2 decades juggling growth, multiple surgeries and basic dental care. In at least one case Dr. Burns' dedication saved my brother's life. While my own dental needs have been less exciting, my treatment has been stellar. I lived near DC for a few years and the dentist in DC praised the quality of the work done in my mouth-- to the point of correcting me when I voiced a mild complaint. I am happy to recommend this practice.
