        The staff at this branch is dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. Yesterday, I inquired about a $39.00 charge for stopping payment on a check. As I had never done this before, I was not aware the fee was so high, nor was I advised of said fee. The teller who facilitated the stop payment lied to the Assistant Manager that he had informed me of the charge. The Assistant Manager told me that the charge is just "standard practice" and there was nothing she could do about it. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told that she would be busy too long for me to wait for her, but the manager would call me by 7:00 pm regarding the issue. This was around 4:30. I never received a call. In the interim, I went to Dollar Bank North Olmsted. The manager of that branch met with me immediately, typed in a code, and refunded the charge to my account. I would have withdrawn every cent of my accounts if the only Dollar Bank employees I could deal with were the ones at the Lakewood Branch. The employees of Dollar Bank Lakewood need a lesson in basic economics: refunding $40.00 is better than losing thousands. Please note: I'd give no stars if it was an option.

        Overall

        This particular branch is an absolute waste of time. Every time I go, there is an issue. Often times I need to make a deposit or pay my mortgage right when they open, half the time they are not even there by 9am. The drive thru is certainly never open at 9am. The Rocky River branch is always a pleasant transaction and I highly recommend you drive the extra 5 minutes and go there.
