Horrible People for a Horrible Company

This company called me telling me they belonged to a magazine subscription magazine that I have been a customer with for almost a year. They told me they needed my card information again and have been charging me every month since. Because they told me they belonged to my original company, they caught me on tape saying I owe them money so that I can not tell them to shove it. They are a snaky corporation and should never be considered for anything. Stay away from them!

Sincerely Worried for Promo Readers Service Inc Customers,

Not to worry

The school officially closed its doors on november 6th, so they are not trying to rope anybody in. The comments about how bad of a reputation this school has in colorado are not completely true. I went there and the only reason I got the job with a doctor that I did -- is because of this school. I understand many people had bad experiences the last few months it was in operation, and that is understandable -- but don't make it sound like NO ONE had a good experience. Also, it isn't completely true that if you went there that you will not find work -- each individual experience varies, depending upon circumstances whether that be directly related to them personally, or in correlation to the facility.

Is this even a school?

After graduating a year ago from this school, I've had to redo my education because my employer was not impressed with what I "learned" both in theory and in practical application. He knew that I went to this school and was worried about its poor education, as that's what it's known for. After redoing my education at another school in Arvada, I was more qualified than my senior aestheticians which is what my boss told me. I couldn't believe how much I learned and the small basic facts I missed from my education at CSPE. My eyes are completely open now now that I can compare schools. I had a horrific experience with CSPE because they sold me a lot of promises and never came through. I sat around all day and made up my own special facial since I was never taught one. It was basically what was structured in the textbook, but you can only learn so much from a book. Besides, why did I pay $14k for an education that is available in a $100 book? I know the school just laid off its instructors, so I don't even know how that school is surviving. They're desperate to rope you in now, so a big warning to all prospective students. Visit the schools, ask for transfer rates, have a reasonable payment plan, and see if you can sit in for one day of the school. The school I recommend is the College of International Esthetics in Arvada, which I've heard from a skin care provider is the best school in Colorado, hands down. I can believe it, so the biggest lesson here is to do thorough research of all prospective schools before signing anything.

Don't Be Fooled!

Don't be fooled by this unethical establishment. 1. There is no such thing is "Paramedical" in the state of CO. 2. It's not a school at all - all they do is sit around and gab all day hoping a client will come by. 3. You're not taught anything! You just read outloud Powerpoint slides or bring in your laptop and watch movies. You will not feel prepared in the real world. This school has a bad reputation in Denver, so finding a job will be difficult. The administration of this school just wants your money so that they can feed the laser clinic found on the other side of the building. BEWARE!!!!

I would not recommend

As a student, I found the administration of this school to be much more concerned about making money than the successful educating of their students. The basics esthetics instructors are great but limited in what they can offer due to their workload. I had a few problems along the way and when I attempted to address them with administration, I was surprised at the overall lack of accountability and unwillingness to work through issues. After attending for a few months, I encountered more seasoned students who were very unhappy with their learning experience as well. The school initially presents itself as offering so much more than other schools, but underdelivers on every level while charging a much higher price than other esthetics schools.
