Jose A. Torres Gluck, M.D., joined the medical staff of Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center in 2013. He is recognized for his expertise in disc replacement surgery and minimally invasive surgery of the spine. Additionally, Dr. Gluck has specific training and expertise in surgery of the pituitary gland. Dr. Gluck is also a faculty member of the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine Neurology Department, serving as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery. Dr. Torres Gluck obtained his medical degree with honors from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY, in 1987. This degree included a fellowship in neurointensive care from UniversitÉ de Paris, HÔpital de la SalpÊtrière, Paris, France. He completed his neurosurgical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. Dr. Gluck completed an additional fellowship in neurosurgical oncology from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/Cornell University, New York, NY. Dr. Torres Gluck is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He previously served as Chief Attending Neurosurgeon at Metropolitan Hospital Center and as Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery at Columbia University in New York, NY.
