        Very professional staff! Called for a rotate & balance and they were able to provide same day service. Prior to technician taking my truck into the shop he met with me to see if I was having any issues/problems with the tires. During the service the technician asked for me to go into shop so he could explain the problem that he found and was able to resolve. Truck was shaking at 45 & 74 prior to service but is now resolved. Very satisfied with the attention to detail and customer service provided!

        This review refers to the 102 Carmel Ave location in Lafayette, Louisiana. I went to Zim's on 9/22/09 for an alignment on my truck, a 1960 Chevy C-10. I was assured that they could do the job, and I prodvided them with a shop manual. I paid $83.38 for a one time alignment job, comared to a 3yr/36000mi alignment at Allied for $110 that was done 43 days after the initial alignment. I was told by Zim's at the time that they could only get the alignment "90% right". They didn't even come close. I had to have the alignment redone after discovering that the bolts for the upper control arm shafts were loose and the alignment shims were falling on the ground. Not only was ths a pain to deal with, but their level of incompetence could well have caused an accident in a restored vehicle with over $100000 invested - not to mention the personal injury that could hve occurred. IMHO - don't trust them with your vehicle.
