ABSOLUTE WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY IN SAN DIEGO! Listen to the other reviewers. I lived in my house for years and Presidio Real Estate took over management last May. From May until January when I moved out they manged to loose 3 months worth or rent checks, agree to do repairs several times and never completed them, loose my house keys, call me in Lydia Carnes called me several times screaming and yelling, I've requested to speak with the company Broker Nickolas Bradley CA DRE License 01741374, they refuse to give me his contact info and wont have him call me. The refund check for my deposit was made out as a two-party check to me and someone who was never on the lease.

Tenants and property owners beware. Presidio is bad business and will screw you over.

Unprofessional, incompetent, disorganized are just a few words to describe this company. I tried to get in touch with the owner to discuss their sloppy booking, but he never bothered to call. My star rating none!

I would advise against choosing Presidio Real Estate as your property manager or as your landlord. I have rented from Presidio for about 3 months now. While I am pleased with the condition of our condo, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of services I have received from the rental office, particularly from Felix. When he showed us our apartment, I asked what the square footage was and he said, "I don't know. Maybe 700?" I looked it up online--593. He failed to give us our gate keys until 2 weeks after we had moved in (and told us he "kept forgetting). He gave us our mailbox key, but told us he couldn't find the mailbox #. He told us he didn't know how to find it out and that we should call the post office. (I ended up walking to the office in our neighborhood, which is unaffiliated with Presidio, and they told me immediately.) Felix also gave us the wrong parking spot numbers, then "resolved" the issue with the homeowner's association. No, we still had the wrong spots and, again, I asked the neighborhood office and got the answer.



Most recently, I am unable to get maintenence issues resolved. I had a plumbing leak and called the emergency maintenence # and had to leave a message. I'm sure the homeowner of the property would not appreciate that their property manager didn't take care of it immediately, because it discolored part of the kitchen cabinets. Then, I had a small maintenence request. I put it in over 3 weeks ago, and never heard back. I tried again 1.5 weeks ago and actually talked to a person, and still never heard back. I went to the office the other day and was told that they "weren't sure" why no one had come out. Today, I called the office to check on the status and was told "We gave it to a maintenence man and he should have called you. He didn't call you?" This is ridiculous.



Overall, I would highly encourage you to rent somewhere else or to find someone else to manage your property.

I was refered to them by a friend after I has some problems with a tenant that wouldnt pay their rent. They came out and met with me right away. They started managing the property fulltime and I they have been doing a great job!. My maintenance bills are way down and my new tenants are happy (so the money comes in like clockwork). When issues come up they are responsive and take care of it right away. They send me a monthly report that shows everything that happened. I am really happy that I met them. I certainly recommend them to you.
