Flooring
Stick with light colors for wall paint and even lighter on the ceiling to draw the eyes upward and to create an illusion of higher ceilings, as well as light-colored flooring. Invest in good lighting to brighten everything up. If you are installing kitchen cabinets, go all the way up to the ceiling so that you can get in more storage and avoid wasted space. Consider a Murphy Bed with built-in shelving/night table space (they make extremely comfortable and attractive ones these days) to enable you to hide your bed during the day. With furnishings, focus on items that have multi-purpose uses, such as a small island that doubles as a kitchen table/workspace, or an ottoman that functions as a coffee table or as seating. Items with built-in storage are helpful to keep clutter at bay. -

This classic plantation charmer features board and batten siding, large double hung windows, split-pitch room forms and classic "Hanalei Green" paint. This Pu’uwai Designed Home on the second fairway of the private Kukui'ula Country Club Course is sure to be a standout.
Residential Roof Repair
This beautiful beach style home opens to the back lanai and infinity edge pool. Pocketing doors in the living room and suite bedrooms create a seamless indoor-outdoor feeling throughout the home. The walls are white painted board and batten with black aluminum clad wood windows and white painted eaves. The roof material is rough wood shake. The palm trees growing out of the planters on the lanai soften the landscape while a built-in outdoor kitchen BBQ area by the pool makes for easy entertaining and relaxing sunday afternoon. The "Pai Pai" outdoor structure was created with ebony stained columns, wide tails, x railings, shake roofing, and a lava rock wall. The BBQ area has a concrete countertop and ebony cabinets with a built-in bar sink and an under-counter refrigerator. The pool spa flows seamlessly into the main pool and the aqua lounge area. The tile floors are gray, and the outdoor furniture is teak.
