        The Farragut YMCA is a recreational facility that features free weights, Cybex machines and computerized treadmills. It offers personal training and yoga classes, as well as conducts fitness assessment sessions and activity camps for children. Located in Knoxville, Tenn., the Farragut YMCA operates the SilverSneakers program for seniors to increase cardiovascular and muscular endurance. The facility is a part of the YMCA of East Tennessee, which offers several programs for youths, adults, senior citizens and families. The YMCA of East Tennessee provides a preschool curriculum to build important literacy skills, develop an appreciation for reading and reinforce the YMCA character development values. The organization also conducts summer camps that include water games and arts and crafts.
