Flexible schedules and teachers who care, that's how I'd describe Florida Technical College. I'm a working mom and my teachers always work with me to accommodate my schedule, especially when I have family related emergencies. I am very happy here.

The experience I encounter at Florida Technical College (FTC) was outstanding. The facilities are top of the line. The help that was provided to me by the staff was amazing. Faculty great to work with. I did not know what course of action to take, it was very good to have many options from the advisor before making the big decision. Overall my experience was a 10 plus.

I have been attending Florida Technical College Culinary Arts program, Kissimmee Campus, for 8 months now and I couldn't be more pleased with what I have learned both in culinary arts, and also in the Food Service and Business industries.
My goal is to own a catering company one day and I have no doubt that its happening. In just 8 months I have already seen a notable difference in my business and the food I prepare and serve.
Being a busy single mom with 3 children and working full time, FTC culinary school has been perfect for me.
I highly recommend their program! This is the real thing. A hands on experience. And FTC is certified by the American Culinary Federation!! Big plus!

My first week a student was held at gun point for his iPad. Then when it came time to get my essential items for school, I was not on the list. I did not get my things until a month after my class and had to borrow iPads to read the text books(they are on the iPads). I had to get to school early and hope someone in my class got there early so I could catch up, I couldn't study. My second class was not getting the information and told the teacher, she told them to hire a tutor... She had no idea how to teach or what she was doing. I had to fight the school every single day. My class constantly broke out into Spanish lecture and I don't speak Spanish at all so I was lost many times. My last day there was when a girl in my class attacked me, pulled half my hair out and smashed my head into another student until someone got her to let go. Neither the students nor teacher would tell the police what happened. Also while waiting on have police to take statements the security officer told me of many, many horror stories of attacks, nastiness and non stop illegal activity that goes on there. Save your money, this school is a joke. I am mortified by all of this.

This is supposed to be a college, I literally learn absolutely nothing the teachers barely know English and if they do they still decide to speak Spanish which is very rude The only reason I'm passing is because I have to teach myself out of the book because our classes are interrupted every 20 f-in minutes because students wana conversate with teachers!!!! Are you kidding I'm paying 20,000$ for nothing I don't recommend this school to anyone!!!!!

Lightning and Thunder and Rain -oh my !

I'd rather be struck by lightning - have my ears blown out by thunder - and get soaking wet instead of studying at this FTC (F---k This Crap)

No books, no equipment, the administration is made up of a pilot, a sociologist, and a Harvard moron. Get a load of this - FUN THURSDAY!!! - Are you kidding me? The teachers do not teach during the week because students know more than they do then you have FUN THURSDAY so you can play - My kindergarten son would throw up in his own mouth if he understood what was going on.
