Roostica Wood-Fire Pizzeria

Uniquely appointed interior of restaurant. Three of us went there for dinner March 28th,2013, our 1st time there. WAITED for server. Placed order. I ordered the $15.00 raviolla. When it came there were 13 squares of the raviolla in tomato pasta sauce. The sauce had to be straight from the can. The bread was chewey and tasteless. The salad was barley sufficient to be a salad. The service was fair at best. Our server was one attractive young Latina with silver piercings. She brought out one entree 1st, then the other 2 entrees, THEN the salads. We finally got out of there for about $86.00 --- and that is with only water to drink, no alcohol or carbonated drinks. Man, have you ever felt Really ripped off ? I did as I paid the whole bill... None of us were happy with the service or the food.. For a fairly new business they sure have a lot to learn. With the nice decor it could be a great place for a nice Italian restaurant.. I hate to leave any type of negative report on any business but in this case I elt compleed to... Sad, but we will Never return.. Tom Herron, Costa Rica

I’m shocked the manger tonight, 1/23/13, was fine with losing a customer over $1.00. The menu has all draft beers at $5.00 and $1.00 off for Happy Hour. Drafts are now $5.50 normal pricing. My tab said $4.50 each for 2 beers. I asked what was up with the $1.00 discrepancy and the manager just said it was a out of date menu. I said, what are you going to do and she said, nothing. Another words, tuff luck for me. No offer of any kind. If it was too much work to fix in the register, I’m thinking offer something, maybe a short draft beer, anything to make the customer happy. It was not my mistake.



I’m thinking this is pretty lame and maybe even stupid on the part of the manager when this is a fairly new business only about six months old. I will not be going back this trip of about another month in a half here in Key West. There are too many choices to have to put up with lame managers who apparently do not care about keeping patrons happy.



I have to admit though the bartender was a sweet heart, and the pizza was pretty good. Prices were not too bad considering it is Key West.

I didn't enjoy it at all. The place is only for people who want fancy Italian style pizza only! There are no options for people who don't like it. There is NO pepperoni! There is no dipping sauces. It is not a place you can take kids because of there strict menu. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is great. Everything is made from scratch. It a great staff, good beers on tap, and fair prices. Its not a tourist trap.

Excellent pizza...good servers and I felt like grandma Piscitelli was in the kitchen!!!
