Dyer & Posta Salon

I've been going here for a few years and it had always been amazing. The girl who used to cut my hair is no longer there so I went to Stephen. The whole experience was so impersonal. Someone under him washed my hair then he cut it and spent maybe a max of 15 minutes on it. I told him to take 3/4 of an inch off and he maybe took off 1/4 of an inch. On top of that, there was someone in the chair next to me waiting on him to finish my hair. I could tell he was just trying to get people in and out. Will not return.

Best Hair Salon in Atlanta! I highly recommend Dyer & Posta Salon to all my friends and family! I haven't had my hair done in years because the last few experiences I had were awful, but my friend recommended Shannon and so I decided to give it a try. Shannon is one of the best hair stylists I ever had, she is great with color, cut and style, I have finally found a stylist I love and trust. She is very professional and also makes me laugh, so I enjoy my time there, and always leave happy and satisfied. I will never let anyone else touch my hair again. Shannon is truly the best and knows what she is doing.

This is the first time I have ever outwardly complained about a business, but my experience at Dyer and Posta has been incredibly frustrating and I think potential clients should know. I went to the salon after seeing a high rating on Yelp and was very excited about my visit. Shannon was my stylist. While washing my hair, I could feel her fingernail falling off. When we returned to her station, she immediately checked instagram on her phone. I asked for a trim and shape-up as I want to grow my hair out. She literally cut 1/2 an inch straight around the bottom and an inch from my bangs and dried. I thought she would attend to my layers after my hair was dry. Nope. Within 25 minutes, I was washed, dried and sent to checkout. I paid and went to the car and tried to rearrange and restyle. It didn't work. I called and was told that D&P had a redo policy for first-time customers. I declined, stating that I wanted a refund. When I followed-up the next day, I was denied a refund. I even spoke to the owner, Stephen, who asked me accusatory questions about my experience. I will never go back and would not recommend this salon to anyone.

Went to Krysten and Dyer&Posta with a real challenge and she exceeded my expectations. I'm a stylist and somewhat picky but she impressed my for sure!

I love this salon! If you go definately see Kris because he is a hair Jedi!!! He will take your hair from drab to fab I promise! When I first came to him I had previously gotten an awful haircut from another salon and I also had a lot of damage from bleaching my hair so much. I really wanted to grow my hair out so it would be long and healty. He has been making my hair look great while it grows out and now it is getting long and is 100% healthy. He is great about listening to what you want and he takes his time with you, unlike a lot of stylists. I promise you won't be disappointed if you see Kris!!!

Great salon! I go to Kris for cuts and I have never been happier with my hair. Before, I had a hard time finding someone who would listen to what I wanted and actually do it, and it seemed that I always left not quite satisfied or frustrated with my cut. But I have gone to Kris for 2 years and I am so happy with my hair EVERY time I leave.

Shannon absolutely ruined my hair. I had been growing my hair out for years & decided I wanted to get some long layers for volume. I explained to her how long it took to grow so to please keep that in mind when cutting. She cut the top of my hair off to about 3 in off my head & then thinned my hair so much that there was almost no hair left. When she turned me around & gave me a mirror to look I was in absolute SHOCK. I could not believe what I saw. The first thing my husband said was "you look like you have a mullet.." my hair looked like I had a "bowl cut" on top & then hair to my mid back that was almost non-existant. Since then, I've had to cut about 10 in off & my hair STILL isn't the same. Worst part of all is Shannon had to of none she messed up & sent me out the door looking like that. I've never written a review (good or bad) but this experience was just too bad to not share with potential clients.
