Checker Cab

First week was good now all of a sudden I'm late 2 days in a ROW. 30 min. To 10 min all while calling at least a hour ahead.

For your safety done use , we're heading home with a trailer loaded !! And you know he saw us , pulled right out in front of us , no on earth could we miss him, breaks locked , horn held down hoping he would get the message. He finally picks up speed a little , we missed him with in inches. If we wouldn't of paid attention it would of been total smash and us on top of that tiny car!!!

Do not use this company unless you have no other alternative. We had made arrangements for the Checker to take us to a New Year's Eve party without and issue. BUT when it came to picking us back up from the party they were no where to be found. The cab was to be at the location at 12:30 AM. A cab shot by around 12:35 AM and didn't even slow. When I called the dispatcher, I was told that they had called, stopped and we weren't there What she failed to realize that smart phones show all missed calls and there weren't any and also I had been waiting outside since 12:30 for their arrival. Then I called and spoke again with the dispatcher and was told that I would be put back in the system and a cab would be there in 30 or so minutes Again, an empty cab drove by the location, didn't stop. Again I called the dispatcher. After a 10 plus minute wait on the phoneI told her the cab drove on by. She said we were in the system and a cab would show up in a bit. By this time it was after 1 AM and the location closed at that time. I had been standing outside in 26 degree weather waiting all this time for the cab to show. I called again and after being placed on hold finally got hold of the dispatcher. It was then 1:15 AM. As the facility was closing a man saw the predicament we were in a volunteered to take us home. I just hope our experience with Checker is not an indication of how this year will be. I will NEVER use this company again. However they are the only ones in town and act like it.

Seriously don't, unless you are not in a hurry. Three times I have used this company and twice they have been half an hour late. I call about 90 minutes before I need to get picked up to make sure they can do it at the time I need it and they say yes they can. But they don't. I call 5 minutes after the cab was supposed to be there. A few minutes he says. 25 minutes later he finally gets there. Now I am sitting here at the Moex office for two hours because I have missed the bus because of this stupid cab company has no ability to keep promises! Fortunately I am not trying to catch a plane. If you can't make the time I need then don't tell me you will be there!
