The Villas at Beaver Creek

I was told by the leasing office that the unit where I will be moving will not be available to look at. They showed me their model unit and asked me to sign the lease within 48 hrs if i want to move-in. I trusted them and signed the lease. After that they never talked with me properly. They were very very rude. They didn't prepare apartment on time. I had to postpone my move. Finally when I took my luggage to move-in, I was shocked to see the condition of the apartment. There was smell of urine outside the apartment. There were hairs everywhere inside apartment and just outside the door. There were big, very visible insect nests in the living room. The blinders were in terrible shape. The blinders and the A/C vents had fungal growth in it. The walls were extremely dirty. The kitchen cabinet had so many stains and they were sticky. I immediately took pictures with my cell phone and showed them. They told me that they will clean the apartment immediately and will paint it too within a day or so. I had stay in motel. Phone calls after phone calls, I finally went there on 3rd day, they just removed the insect nests. They said that they will not do anything else and I need to accept in that condition. I demanded to speak with the manager and she was not willing to speak at all. They asked me to either accept the apartment or leave the property immediately. I had to call cops to make them speak to me. I finally broke the lease as I didn't want to stay at that property ever again after such a horrible experience. I paid whatever fee they demanded, but they refused to give me any letter mentioning that I paid them their fees and don't owe anything to them. After calling them hundreds of times and visiting their office so many time, they gave me letter with my name incorrect. Thus the letter had no value. Just to change the mistake, they took another week and during that week, when visited the office each time, they gave me such an insulting treatment that I can't imagine what kind of human beings are they. The manager is especially evil. She is exceptionally arrogant, cold hearted person. I hope no one stays in that apartment. Please think 100 times before signing the lease...otherwise you will spend every day of the next one year regretting your decision.
