This place sucks. Do not stay here. The coffee is shit. Had to run my coffee water twice just so I couldn't see through it. Bugs and rats in the rooms. After coming here off and on for three years at 10 minutes till 10 they made all kids get out and wait because they decided to change the rule of pool hours from 9am to 10 pm to 10-10 then want to argue with me about 10 minutes. They advertise for breakfast. That's a lie. No food on premises. No restaurant no bar. I will not be coming back

Hi everyone,

I need your help. I stayed in the

DFW Airport Hotel and Conference Center

on October 27 and checked out on the 28th. I spent the night in Mexico and could not cancel the room for October 31st until the 30th. I had to pay additional money for a room because I was not going to stay in that hotel again.

First of all when I entered the room there was a plastic cover over the smoke detector. I called down to the front desk to have them come take it off. Next the iron in the room spark and shocked me when I plugged it in and the ironing board collapsed on my foot. The front desk brought me another iron and ironing boards so I could iron my blouse for the following day. The room was not clean so I put my bag on the table and there was a movement by the curtain on the 1st floor off the lobby. I was in a room that opened to the atrium in the hotel, a suite. I didn't pay much attention as I was so exhausted. There was a french fry on the floor and I was so tired I just left it there and I just took a shower and dried my body off with dirty towels and went to bed. During the night I had to use the bathroom when I came back to bed I whacked my leg on the bed frame that was sticking out but hidden underneath the bedskirt. See pics below.

After all of that the next morning I wake up to find a note under my door from Code Enforcement and the french fry was gone. I realized the movement the day before was a rat. See pics below.

When I went to the front desk to cancel my reservation on October 31st they told me that I could not do that, there was a one day penalty since I only had a reservation for one day I lost my money.

I am asking everyone to repost this and spread the word so no one else gets taken by the DFW Airport Hotel and Conference Center in Dallas Texas.

Please help me spread the word as we're going to posted on TripAdvisor and any other travel website that anyone knows about. Thank you in advance everyone have a happy healthy Thanksgiving.

I got woke up at 10:30 at night being accused of calling the local police when I was asleep.it took three times of calling the front desk to get towels.the outside pool was so cloudy that you couldn't see bottom.I would not recommend this hotel to the homeless.half the staff don't speak English.also the worst yet is the customer service is the WORST IVE EVER SEEN!!

Taking Chances...is exactly wh...

Taking Chances...is exactly what you will be doing if you decide to stay here. The hotel is a dilapidated building that reeks of mold and is infested with poodle-size cockroaches. I completely understand that this is Texas cockroaches are to be expected but come on there’s a limit. If it gets to the point were they fall from the ceiling into the bed on a nightly basis, you’re crossing the limit line. There’s nothing grosser than finding a crushed cockroach in your bed, that you must of rolled over onto at some point of the night. They have confrence center in their name but I've seen community parks with more elegance. The out door pool is lime green. The staff is lethargic, rude and lazy and this is on a good day. The internet is fickle at best. The fire alarm goes off continually. What they consider breakfest is left over eggs, something that resembles potates and rubbery sausage. If you say "well it can't all be bad" you'd be correct: I guess one good thing about having stayed here was the fact police are always, I MEAN always, patrolling the parking lot but I don’t think it’s what one would consider: courtesy patrols, apparently this place seems to be plagued by theft. I could literally go on for pages but I figure if you dare to stay then here you’ll figure it out for yourself.

Had issues with reservations. also woken at 230 in the morning by FALSE fire alarm. The miniature putt putt golf course was cracked and turf showed the concrete inside hotel. The continental breakfast is NOT free its 3 dollars. the only good thing bout stay was close to destination.

We recently spent a few hours ...

We recently spent a few hours at a hotel at 4440 W. Airport Freeway, Irving, TX. We checked in about 3:45PM on 8-3-11. We stood in the lobby with no other guests and had to wait on the two ladies to finish talking before they would wait on us. I made our reservation through Priceline.com. They had no record of the reservation. They said I had to call Priceline. I called and was on hold with you for at least 10-15 min. After which the agent called the hotel employee and confirmed our reservation. We finally checked in and went to our room, #3101. The entire hotel smells like an old casino. The whole hotel smells like it’s full of smoke. We get to our room and the AC is off and the curtains to the outside window are open. It was currently 114 degrees today and for the last week or so too. The room was very hot. We turned the AC on high and left for a few hours. We returned about 8:30PM and the room was still at least 85-90 degrees. We called downstairs and were put on hold. I stayed on hold for about 7 min. I finally hung up and called again. This time someone else answered. I explained the situation; she only offered to send maintenance. I told her that there probably isn’t anything wrong with the AC; it’s just that it’s been off. I asked for another room. She said that all of their rooms are hot because the AC is off. I asked if there is anything else she could do for me, even if they had fans to bring up. She said she couldn’t do anything else. The internet was so slow that it took 2-3 min for google.com to come up with the phone number to a new hotel. We promptly checked out of the hotel at 8:45PM and went to a different hotel. We will never stay at this hotel again and will fervently post my experience for as many reviews as I can find.
