Archstone at MacArthur

Way too high rent for what it is. The gates are always breaking down. Lots of noisy street traffic if you are near a street or near an exit gate. Appliances are Hot Point crap that belong in a lower end apartment. They do not keep up with changing the trash or refilling bags on the dog station. They have lost several packages at the office that were held by FedEx leading to a waste of time putting traces on them. The carpet is also very low grade and stains very easily. The pad underneath is paper thin with many holes. The are many foundation issues with the buildings that have not been addressed just cosmetic repairs. There are stress cracks and nail pops everywhere. There is almost a step down from bedroom to hall way on upstairs area. While foundation issues are to be expected in Irving.. they have not been taken care of by this apartment complex. The rent increases were not just a little, they were over a couple hundred dollars. The turnover rate there is very high. Yes, the outside looks great, but you will be disappointed once you settle in. Only good point about this place is that they have good maintenance crew and system.
