VA Regional Office

On Wed. 8/21/2013 1:39 pm several attempts to call this office were unsuccessful. 800# listed options but no representative answered. the local # listed rang & rang & rang at least 10 times with no answer.I filed a claim which,according to USPS tracking, arrived on July 24 and I have not received any notification from the VA of its receipt. A letter or e-mail of receipt notification would be considerate. The VA could at least have a Person or two available to answer the phones. Maybe even provide an e-mail option for questions/status on filed claims. CPO USN Ret.
