SER-Ni os Charter School is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing educational, developmental and family support to economically disadvantaged children and families. It supports people who suffer from geographic displacement and social instability. Its team of teachers, parents and other primary caregivers work together to help children attain academic and personal independence. SER-Ni os Charter School works closely with several community leaders, institutions and other service agencies in providing information, coordinated referrals and comprehensive services to families in need. Located in Houston, the school conducts a variety of activities and programs designed specifically to empower parents and integrate school services to children. Its programs include parent center, family support team and parental involvement programs. Its staff cultivates and maintains positive relationships with parents and other family members and works together with them for the benefit of the children.
